Alisa Ord’s sculptures are absolutely beautiful. The animals and people she creates are produced in her Yorkshire workshop. Her artistry is such that her creations immediately attract the viewer’s eye with the delicacy of her touch and her intimate understanding of the animal form. It is obvious that Alisa has studied the creatures she produces in great depth. She represents their movement and stances sensitively with observations taken of them in their natural habitats. With Alisa’s delicacy, imaginative talent and advanced skills she is able to recreate the images into life-size sculptures using metal wire. The pieces I have commissioned from Alisa are displayed in my mountain garden; they are continuously admired by passers-by. Not only are the sculptures beautiful pieces in themselves but they also add something special to an outdoor space as well as an indoor setting. I was astonished at how resilient the sculptures are after years of being exposed to ongoing extremes of temperature, wind and rain yet remain solid and problem-free. Alisa Ord is also a very approachable person so I would recommend anyone interested to contact her via Epona Artistry either online or by phone.

I would like to just say a few words to you re the pair of Deer you have made for me, which are amazing and sit so well in our garden. From my first initial contact with you a few months ago, to you coming back saying you have a slot and delivery date as well as agreeing a price was so simplistic, easy and open. This whole experience was only added to when the day you turned up, with the completed sculptures. As I say, they are amazing and suit the location so well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your work to any of my friends too. In fact, I have seen the pair of boxing hares you have added on your social media, are these available too?
